Sirius reaffirms 2006 subscriber guidance

On Wednesday, Sirius Satellite Radio reaffirmed its guidance of more than 6.2 million subscribers by year-end 200. This represents an 87 percent increase over the company's subscriber base at the end of 2005. Sirius expects to add more than 2.8 million net subscribers during the year.  Sirius's CEO Mel Karmazin said that Sirius continues "to experience dramatic growth and strong demand for our service."
