WhiteFence, one of the fastest growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, business-focused, service-minded individual to join our dynamic company as a Site Optimization Analyst. The Site Optimization Analyst will be responsible for optimizing the customer experience across the entire site by testing new designs; targeting specific visitors with relevant messages; combining behavioral data with analytics to better understand how to improve conversion. In addition, this individual is responsible for promoting a test driven release practice and fostering a positive environment built on data driven analysis.
Responsibilities
- Using site analytics and customer experience insights as the basis for business recommendations for on-site optimization efforts.
- Analyze online marketing programs, site traffic, site navigation, and customer activity to maximize online conversion
- Analyze and optimize the ecommerce funnel through testing and targeting approaches including: A/B testing, multivariate (MVT), usability.
- Clearly develop and articulate test hypotheses, success metrics and testing requirements
- Work closely with design team in developing store marketing assets on a daily basis for testing. This includes writing creative briefs, providing copy and direction.
- Use Analytics as a resource to develop methods of using site and campaign monitoring tools to drive conversion rates.
- Working knowledge of popular ecommerce platforms / web applications a plus
- Demonstrate self-motivation, detail-orientation and strong time management, written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience with Omniture analytics product suite, Google Analytics or alternate web analytics software
- 1-2 years of experience in website optimization through A/B, multivariate testing
- Hands-on SEO experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Must have some background in basic User Interface design and User Experience definition
- Solid quantitative/analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and prioritize projects based on importance and urgency
