run high-speed Internet through your existing electrical wiring with a simple plug-and-play connection. Plus, SlingLink Turbo is compatible with any home router.

Networking Made Simple
The SlingLink Turbo acts as an extension cord for the Internet by using your home's existing electrical wiring to transmit the ethernet signal from your router. Just plug one SlingLink into the wall near your router, and plug in the other included SlingLink wherever you have your Slingbox installed, and voila!, you're connected to the Internet. Additionally, you should know that the SlingLink won't impact the performance of your network. It simply sends your home's Internet connection from your office or wherever you've placed your router to another household room via your electrical wiring. So wherever you have a wall socket, you can also have a broadband connection for all of your devices.

Works Well with Others
It's a little-known fact, but the SlinkLink Turbo will work with other Powerline adapters you might already have. If, for example, you already have a Netgear Powerline Ethernet adapter, just plug it into another outlet in the house and you will be connected to the Internet. SlingLink Turbo will recognize it in the network and adopt it into the configuration. You can connect up to 16 Powerline adapters in your house and all of them will talk to the SlingLink Turbo connected to your router.

Easy Setup
In just two steps you can have your Slingbox, game console, DVR and Media Center PC connected to your network:

Step 1: Plug the four port SlingLink Turbo into an outlet near your Slingbox and connect the Ethernet cable to your Slingbox's network jack. You can connect up to three more devices to the four port unit.

Step 2: Plug the one port SlingLink Turbo into an outlet near your router and connect the Ethernet cable to your router's network jack.

What's in the Box
Four port SlingLink Turbo switch, one port SlingLink Turbo bridge, quick start guide, and ethernet cable (three meters long).

Product Description
If you're like most people, you don't have an Ethernet jack right next to your television - or a hot tub in the living room for that matter. And while having both would be splendid, the SlingLink can at least resolve one of those dilemmas. The SlingLink TURBO brings network connectivity to any electrical wall outlet, making it ideal for the modern living room. With four switched ports, it connects your Slingbox, game console, DVR, computer or anything with an Ethernet jack. And it's compatible with any home router. Just plug one SlingLink TURBO into the wall near your router, and plug in the other SlingLink TURBO wherever you have your Slingbox installed, and voila! You're connected to the Internet.

Tough to please   August 23, 2008

This may or may not work for you. I've got it working in my house. I've got a Netgear router upstairs in my bonus room hooked up to a Charter Cable box. My Dish reciever is downstairs in another section of my house. The Slinglink Turbo works fairly well; however, if I plug anything else into certain outlets in my bonus room, the whole connection basically just fails. So be aware of what you have plugged into other outlets as it might cause the whole thing to fail.

I was skeptical when I bought this, I have been working with computers and electronics for 10 years and I could not imagine that it would work. But I had a room that I need to make into an office, with no way of running network into it. It is on the far end of the house from the router, and it works great!!!! It is on a seperate circuit then the router, but no issues, like other reviews say, I saw on their website that as long as it is on the same phase (power line from the road) you would not have an issue. My Network performance is as good as if I plugged it directly into the router!

Works as advertised.   July 20, 2008

Truly a "plug and play" device. I have an older sling box the was close to my router. After moving it to another room this device solved my wireing problems. The only issue is you have to plug the network end into the router directly. Going through a hub first won't work. Other than that, no problems what so ever..

Easy as pie   March 28, 2008

Set up was so easy, 5 minutes at most and I was able to hook up my Dish receiver to the internet to download movies, and it works flawlessly.

I have no complaints about this product   March 21, 2008

The product was extremely easy to configure. Just plug both units in, connect the ethernet cables and your ready to go. It works great in place of a wireless extender. I have a Slingbox, Tivo and Linksys Wireless Access Point plugged into it and they are all work fine with it.

I noticed someone mentioned that they had problems when using the 2 two units on two different circuits. I definitely have them on two different circuits and I never experienced any issues.
