XM Radio hits 6.5 million

By adding 568,000 net new subscribers, XM Radio has made it to 6.5 million total subscribers in the first quarter of 2006. XM Radio's goal is to get nine million subscribers by the end of 2006. XM Radio President and CEO Hugh Panero said that reaching 6.5 million total subscribers this quarter is consistent with their goal. You can read more about XM Radio's growth in their press release.
