HDTVs are growing in popularity

Kagan Research recently conducted a study that found that  HDTVs will be in over 82 percent of households by 2010. One reason they suggest for this increase is that  "the average price of an HD set will decline some 38% by 2010, reducing the average price to $1,139." The price decrease may come as a result of a hard date finally being set for the switch to all digital TV, which has caused the production for HDTV sets to go up.
