No megamerger curse for AT&T;/BellSouth merger

According to an article on MSNBC, AT&T will likely avoid the megamerger curse that has hit several other large companies. Many other mergers of the magnitude of the BellSouth and AT&T merger have failed horribly due to problems with integration between the companies involved. However, the merger between AT&T and BellSouth has a higher chance of successful integration since the companies have a shared history. Also, the companies already know how to work together as they share ownership of Cingular Wireless.
