Cablevision planning a remote DVR

Cablevision is planning an innovation in digital recording: a remote DVR service. Through this service, Cablevision customers will no longer need DVR boxes; instead, recorded television programs will be stored in Cablevision's network servers. Other cable companies Comcast and Time Warner are supporting Cablevision's plan as a  great idea.
