BellSouth demands retraction

BellSouth demanded last week that USA Today retract the newspaper's claims that BellSouth provided phone records of its customers to the National Security Agency (NSA). Lawyers for BellSouth sent a letter to USA Today requesting that the newspaper to retract "false and unsubstantiated statements" made in a May 11 story.
