Verizon jumping into the gaming industry

Verizon is expanding even further. According to the article, Verizon Buys Stake in Gaming Company, Verizon has acquired an equity stake in a privately held provider of online gaming technology, Super Computer International, Inc. Verizon bought the stake in "an effort to expand its presence in the online video gaming market. Verizon and SCI will work to create an online game browsing and messaging platform called PlayLinc, which will give gamers more control over their multiplayer gaming interactions."
