WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for an Integration Specialist to utilize our framework/patterns to integrate multiple diverse technical systems in a wide variety of protocols and data formats. This includes understanding and defining the full business cycles we are responsible for automating.
Responsibilities
· Design, build, and test integration solutions
· Write Java code leveraging our frameworks
· Perform customer service and maintenance functions for the existing installed integrations
· Collaborate with in-house analysts to build interfaces consistent with partner specifications
· Participate in design sessions and code reviews
· Document new and existing integrations
Requirements
· Four-year college degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 5 years experience in software development
· Prefer 3-5 years of software development experience in Java
· Prefer 2 years of J2EE experience
· Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies at a rapid pace
· Ability to effectively interface with and influence personnel at all levels of the organization
· Exceptional communication (written and oral), change leadership and customer service skills
· Maintain a high sense of urgency
· Must have a flexible schedule being able to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed
· Limited to no travel required
