WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, service-minded individual to join our fast-paced company as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to develop monthly financial forecasts and annual operating plans/budgets. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the leadership team across the Company to prepare daily and monthly profitability reports and lead the analysis of monthly operations.
Responsibilities
· Works with the leadership team to prepare monthly financial forecast models and annual budgets (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
· Prepares and analyzes daily and monthly reports on financial and operating performance
· Develops new reports to better analyze and understand the drivers of the business
· Performs ad hoc analysis to identify the source of operational problems and make recommendations for improvement
· Prepares service provider and channel partner pricing and profitability models to assist sales groups in negotiating contract pricing.
· Assists in preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3+ years of financial analysis, forecasting and modeling experience (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow)
- Minimum 3+ yrs experience working in the accounting field in either public accounting or industry
- Demonstrated ability to collect data, analyze financial and operational trends and propose recommendations to improve performance
- High level mastery of Excel, including extensive experience with Pivot Tables and Macros
- Solid experience working with SQL databases, ability to quickly understand database structure and write queries to extract the appropriate data
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and solve challenging problems
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to lead and influence others across all departmental boundaries
- Must have a fanatical attention to details in analysis and forecasted results
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
