WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced company as Accounting Manager. In this role you will use your 5+ years experience to oversee accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement and implement new processes.
Responsibilities
- Review executed revenue contracts and agreements to ensure appropriate recognition of revenue
- Obtains daily and monthly detail revenue and reconciles actual revenue recorded for errors or inconsistencies on a monthly basis
- Participates in annual audit including pre-audit preparation tasks
- Oversees AR collections and works closely with Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage accounts that exceed credit limit
- Prepare monthly Channel Partner Rebate analysis and audit internal commissions contract setup
- Reconciles Month end daily flash (revenue report)to actual revenue
- Prepares Sales Credit analysis of top service providers at a detail level and all other service providers at a higher level.
Requirements
- 5 years corporate Accounting experience with at least 3 years public Accounting
- 2 years supervisory experience (in an accounting capacity)
- Strong excel skills extracting data from data warehouses and manipulating data with pivot tables
- Excellent financial analysis and problem solving skills
