The company was founded in March 2000 on the premise that comparison shopping and ordering home services could be a more efficient process. After relaunching in 2004 as WhiteFence, the company has grown into the nation's leading online marketplace for utilities and home services.

March 2000 Company is founded as Qcorps Residential, Inc.
November 2001 WhiteFence signs one millionth multifamily unit under exclusive channel partner relationship.
March 2002 WhiteFence expands scope of services to single-family residences.
July 2003 WhiteFence signs 9 of top 10 largest real estate brokers in the United States.
June 2004 Company establishes nationwide coverage for all major services, including phone, cable, satellite high-speed Internet service, electricity and change of address.
November 2004 The company launches its branded Web site, WhiteFence.com.
November 2005 Internet Capital Group (ICG) joins as venture capital partner.
August 2006 Eric Danziger joins WhiteFence as CEO.
March 2007 Company completes second round of funding, raising $14 Million, led by Adams Street Partners, in addition to ICG.
June 2007 Company acquires competitor ConnectUtilities.
October 2007 Company acquires GetConnected’s technology and intellectual property.
January 2008 Launched the WhiteFence Index, the only place on the Web where you can find averages for utility bills in more than 20 U.S. cities.
July 2008 WhiteFence launches Movearoo.com for new Telco Consortium.
