WhiteFence Names Mark Golenzer as Chief Financial Officer

Former Carlson Hotels Worldwide vice president joins fast-growing, home-services marketplace

HOUSTON (October 25, 2006) — WhiteFence (www.whitefence.com), the online comparison shopping marketplace for home services and utilities, has tapped former Carlson Hotels Worldwide executive Mark Golenzer as Chief Financial Officer to oversee the company's overall financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, capitalization and financial reporting.

Prior to joining WhiteFence, Mr. Golenzer served as vice president of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, where he was responsible for all of the company's hotel real estate, business objectives and financial activities. Mr. Golenzer also served as senior vice president of Radisson-Olympus Capital Partners, an investment partnership between Carlson Hotels Worldwide and Olympus Real Estate Partners, where he managed all financial aspects of the partnership.

To complement his vast experience in the travel and hospitality industry, Mr. Golenzer also spent six years as a vice president for Lincoln Investment Management, the investment subsidiary of the Lincoln National Corporation. At Lincoln, Mr. Golenzer was responsible for the company's strategic planning and led various investment functions. He also managed hotel investments, financial analysis and reporting for Prudential Realty Group in Chicago.

Mr. Golenzer earned his master's in business administration from the University of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance.
