DirecTV is a competitor in satellite TV, offering entertainment to millions of customers across the nation. DirecTV offers many features to its customers including TV programming, premium channels, on-demand services, Internet and digital video recording. DVR is a tool that allows you to record your favorite shows and movies and watch them at a later date. Using the provided remote control, DVR is easy to use. However, DVR is impossible to use without a remote. You can buy an extra remote to start enjoying your favorite programs once more.
Step 1
Go to the DirecTV (directv.com) Web page. Point to "Technology" on the top menu and click "Remotes." Scroll down to review the remotes available.
Step 2
Click "Order Now" next to the remote you want to purchase. Some of the remotes on the page can only be ordered by calling 888-355-7530.
Step 3
Sign in to your DirecTV account with your email and password or create a new one if you have never used the DirecTV website.
Step 4
Click "Add to Cart" to start the order process. If the remote control you selected doesn't show up automatically when you log in, click "My Equipment." Click "Remotes" and click "Add to Cart" for the remote you would like.
Step 5
Review your order and complete the checkout process on screen. If you need to review or make changes to your order, click "My Account" and "View Recent Orders" for order information.
