Zeecon Wireless provides high-speed Internet to rural areas of Texas. HughesNet offers satellite-based high-speed Internet service to customers throughout the United States. Satellite-based technology provides Internet to communities not served by DSL or cable-based Internet services. Zeecon Wireless uses fiber-optic technology to deliver high-speed broadband Internet to communities in Central Texas.
About HughesNet
Satellite Internet, such as the service provided by HughesNet, can be more expensive than non-satellite Internet because of the high cost related to delivering the service. HughesNet is available to customers in the contiguous United States with a clear view of the southern sky. The Internet connection reaches a subscriber's computer via a satellite that communicates through Hughes Network Operating Centers to a satellite dish and modem installed at the subscriber's home or business.
About Zeecon Wireless

In cooperation with the Lower Colorado River Authority, Zeecon Wireless provides free broadband Internet service to local schools, libraries and community centers. In addition, Zeecon Wireless offers local homeowners and businesses high-speed broadband Internet service.

The Basic plan provided download speeds of up to 1 Mbps, the Power 150 plan features download speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps, and the Power 200 plan included download speeds of up to 2 Mbps. Zeecon Wireless works with customers to customize connections speeds and network WAN designs. In addition, the company provides a standard residential plan with download speeds of up to 3 Mbps and a business plan with download speeds of up to 5 Mbps.
Plan and Service Features
HughesNet offers its customers 24-hour live technical supports. Subscribers can register up to five emails with the Basic and Power 150 plans, and up to 10 emails with the Power 200 plan. HughesNet restricts the amount of data a subscriber can upload and download within a 24-hour period. With the Basic plan, users can download up to 200 MB per day, while subscribers with the Power 150 plan can download up to 300 MB.
