Cox Communications provides high-speed cable internet in many parts of Arizona, including Phoenix. Cox offers four different levels of internet service, depending on the speed that you want. Their most popular option is a Preferred internet connection, with download speeds up to 18 megabytes per second and upload speeds up to 4 Mbps. As of June 2011, this costs $29.99 per month for the first three months with free installation. The regular price of this service is $49.99 per month. The Premier plan with faster speeds costs $64.99, while the Ultimate plan costs $89.99. The basic Essential plan that offers download speeds up to 3 Mbps costs $19.99 for the first 3 months with a regular price of $35.99. Cox also offers cable TV and phone service.
Comcast
Comcast offers high-speed internet service in some parts of Phoenix. They offer an internet package for new customers that costs $29.99 per month for six months as of June 2011, and provides download speeds of up to 15 Mbps. Comcast bundles this with a service called Constant Guard, which features online protection using Norton Security Suite and Identity Guard. They also feature the Universal Address Book by Plaxo to help you keep all of your contacts organized. Comcast also offers cable TV and phone service.
Qwest
Qwest offers DSL internet in many parts of Arizona, including most of Phoenix. They offer five different pricing tiers, depending on the upload and download speeds that you want. As of June 2011, Qwest prices range from $14.95 per month for speeds up to 1.5 Mbps to $44.95 per month for speeds up to 40 Mbps. They offer high speed internet, cable TV, phone and Verizon Wireless service. Qwest allows customers to create bundles based on which services they want.
Roadrunner
Roadrunner broadband service is available in many parts of Arizona. Roadrunner broadband is provided by Time Warner Cable and it uses the same cable system as cable television. Broadband from Roadrunner offers download speeds of up to 7 Mbps for $34.95 per month for 12 months, as of June 2011. They also offer digital cable TV and home phone service through Time Warner Cable, and include bundle packages among the available options.
