Sr. Director- Interactive Marketing

 

WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced company as the Sr. Director- Interactive Marketing. This person would focus on expanding our core competency in online consumer direct marketing, while providing leadership, strategy, execution and analysis for WhiteFence’s paid search, organic search and online display advertising activities.  The Sr. Director- Interactive Marketing will drive key acquisition strategies and objectives, ensuring cost effective new customer acquisition through SEM, SEO, Portal, and Ad Network and DSP advertising efforts.

 

The Senior Director- Interactive Marketing is a high profile role reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.  This role will work closely with product management, internal analytics, search engine management, media, technology and call center management teams to implement paid and organic search marketing initiatives and banner advertising that delivers against WhiteFence business metrics.  He/she will collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and online advertising and search providers to formulate and implement paid search strategies and best practices.

Responsibilities

       Oversee organic search related content and site design strategies to ensure top rankings across key categories

       Oversee paid search strategy and implementation of best practices.

       Drive online advertising(banners, text ads, new media) and landing page strategy though multiple ad networks and DSP models.

       Actively manage a significant search budget across key search providers.

       Monitor performance of paid search and organic results on a daily basis and work with analytics and finance teams to reach target metrics and monthly budgets.

       Implement campaigns to actively test and analyze keywords, advertising copy, landing pages and positioning to increase ROI, margin dollars and visitors across multiple sites.

       Develop site content and linking strategies

       Actively test and implement specific bidding strategies for all paid search and online ad buys.

       Analyze performance data to develop campaign performance optimization recommendations.

       Continually leverage new tools & industry best practices to ensure WhiteFence is on the cutting edge in online advertising and search marketing strategy.

       Stay abreast of new developments and opportunities in the SEM / SEO/Online Ad space and incorporate into ongoing campaign optimization.

       Gather industry research, competitive landscape information, and trade intelligence for SEM strategy development and optimization.

       Serve as strategic contact for, and foster relationships with search engine and online ad partners (Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Ad Networks, etc.).

Requirements

       Bachelor’s in Marketing, Statistics, or related field

       7 plus years of Paid Search Engine Marketing and display advertising experience; agency experience a plus.

       Knowledge of DSP’s, ad networks, portals, and online ad partnerships

       Experience with driving paid and organic search marketing efforts

       Knowledge of organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics and the relationship between paid and organic search

       Must be fluent in the search landscape with experience managing multiple paid search campaigns with a variety of direct response and brand building goals. 

       Knowledge of bid management tools, 3rd party adserving, and web analytics tools (Kenshoo, Omniture SearchCenter, AtlasDMT, WebTrends, etc.).

       Ability to work independently and synthesize large amounts of data while meeting tight deadlines.

       Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills

       Ability to perform basic budget management and forecasting

       High attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple projects

       Willingness to work in a team environment and solid people management skills
