Whether you're a prospective customer, or a current subscriber who needs help with billing, technical issues, or assistance with upgrading your services, there are several methods of contacting a representative in a time frame that is convenient and with a mode of communication that is easy for you to operate.
Telephone
Step 1
Call Comcast Cable for any type of assistance. Whether you're a business customer, residential customer or a prospective customer, Comcast has telephone support options to meet your needs.
Step 2
Determine your customer status. Residential customers can call 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278) for customer support that is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Business customers can call 1-800-391-3000.
Step 3
Enter the phone number linked to your Comcast account, or a phone number connected with the area where you desire to establish an account. Comcast requires that you enter a phone number regardless of your subscriber status.
Step 4
Provide identifying account information to access your account and customer support personnel. Identifying information consists of home address, birth date, the last four numbers in your Social Security number, and your phone number or email address linked to your Comcast account.
Step 5
Choose the account option, such as billing or technical support, that will best service your needs.
Chat
Step 1
Open the Comcast Cable website, click on "Customers" and then click "Contact Us." On the contact page, click on the link to open live chat with a customer support specialist.
Step 2
Choose the type of customer support that will best resolve your question or concern.
Step 3
Click the red button labeled "Chat With Live Agent."
Step 4
Fill out the required information: first and last name, street address, zip code and phone number. You also have the option of providing your account number and a description of the purpose of your contact with a Comcast customer support agent.
Step 5
Click the red button labeled "Start Chat" and wait for the next available customer support agent.
Step 1
Open the Comcast Cable website, click on "Customers" and then click "Contact Us." Click on the option to email a customer support representative.
Step 2
Enter your zip code and the type of service you are emailing about: telephone, Internet or cable television.
Step 3
Enter your personal information including your name, address and the phone number linked to your account. Also select your service question type from the drop down menu.
Step 4
Type the full text of your question in the message box and press "Submit" when your message is complete. Comcast guarantees that you will receive a response within 24 hours.
