This fall, Sirius plans to launch a Catholic-themed station that will broadcast talk and music programming as well as daily Mass from St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. The station is being created by Sirius with the exclusive participation of the Archdiocese of New York. It will feature programming only available through Sirius.
The Catholic Channel, as the station is to be called, also will include human interest stories and inspirational themes, shows offering counseling and guidance, educational programs and musical content. A detailed schedule with specific programs and hosts will be announced prior to the launch of the Catholic Channel.
