Comcast and Time Warner Cable to Swap Customers

Comcast officials announced that it will be taking over Time Warner's role in the cable market in Houston, Texas, early next year. Time Warner Cable will switch to covering cable systems serving Kansas City, Southwest Texas and New Mexico. With the receipt of the Houston cable systems, Comcast will gain subscribers in one of the fastest-growing markets in the United States. The swap is a result of Adelphia Communications' recent sale to Time Warner Cable and Comcast.
