WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented individual to join our fast-paced company as Director of Website Design in our Interactive Marketing group. In this role you will use your 5+ years of web design and project management experience to contribute to the success of our dynamic company.
Responsibilities
· Manage team of in-house designers and 3rd party consultants to drive conversion improvements across all key sites
· Develop and manage all site test plans, ensuring clear, actionable results
· Work with the Customer Experience, IT and Operations teams to create the most effective and intuitive online experiences
· Manage all site updates including copy, pricing and links
· Partner with the Analytics team to regularly report on successes, failures and action plans going forward
Requirements
· Bachelors Degree Required
· 5+ years work experience in web design and production
· 5+ years project management experience
· Agency experience a plus
· Outstanding knowledge of DreamWeaver (or any HTML text editor), CSS and HTML
· Outstanding knowledge of Photoshop
· Working knowledge of javascript and PHP a plus
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must posses strong conceptualization and production skills
· Experience with designing online transactions, such as e-commerce and lead generation
· Looking for a team player who can produce pieces on deadline for multiple clients with varying levels of direction in a fast-paced environment.
· Diligent work ethic and high energy level are required for this team
