WhiteFence, one of the fastest growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, business-focused, service-minded individual to join our dynamic company as a Senior Product Manager. This individual will help identify and launch new products to meet consumer needs and drive new users and revenue through the WhiteFence and partner e-commerce sites/platforms.
In this role, you will report directly to the VP- Product Development.
Responsibilities
· Assist in the development of product strategy, new features and new products from inception to launch.
· Working closely with technical, marketing and operational personnel to ensure all product requirements are well documented and fulfilled.
· Driving innovation within the product(s) and overall consumer experience (on WhiteFence and partner sites) to drive both increased traffic and overall revenue.
· Analysis of site performance metrics to drive product roadmap
· Assist in performing financial benefits-case analysis to shape product development priorities.
· Performing market research and analysis of competitive products and services.
· Coordinating usability tests as required.
· Provide clear and concise communication regarding the product roadmap and development plan and coordinate with cross-functional team members.
· Contribute and/or present product plans and updates to Senior Management
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Technology, or Communications preferred
- 3+ years in a product role; experience with e-commerce business preferred
- Broad understanding of e-commerce technologies and solutions, with experience in mobile and social products preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; polished presentation skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across the company internally and externally
- Ability to manage time and prioritize projects based on importance and urgency
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- High degree of self motivation and initiative
- Passion for creating market-leading products
- Strong working knowledge of SEO preferred
