How to Move a Phone Number From Verizon to AT&T

If you are switching your cell phone service from Verizon Wireless to AT&T, you can keep your current cell phone number. To move your phone number to AT&T, take your Verizon billing information, including your account number and mailing address, to an AT&T retail store or have it on hand as you visit the AT&T website.
