The AT&T; U-verse bundle package utilizes digital technology in the form of a U-verse digital receiver that you can connect with your high-definition television. If you have uninstalled AT&T; U-verse for any reason, you can reinstall the U-verse receiver box and connect it to your television back with the digital signal using the HDMI and coaxial cables. Within a matter of minutes, you can receive high-definition image and crisp audio with your newly reinstalled U-verse receiver.
Step 1
Plug the power cord into the "Power +12 DC" port on the back of the U-verse box receiver. Insert the other end of the power cord into the electrical outlet.
Step 2
Find the coaxial cable that is protruding out of the wall and insert it into the "TO Wall" port on the back of your U-verse box receiver.
Step 3
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the "HDMI IN" port on your television set and the other end into the "HDMI OUT" of the U-verse receiver.
Step 4
Turn on the television with your U-verse remote control and go to channel 3. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control and scroll down until you see the "Options" function. Press the "OK" button to select the "Options" function.
Step 5
Go to "System Settings" and then select "Aspect Ratio." After selecting your aspect ratio of your television, press "Start Test."
