Century Link offers four different Internet speeds to allow customers to purchase the speed that they need. The available speeds are 768 kilobytes per second, 1.5 megabytes per second, 3.0 megabytes per second and 10 megabytes per second. Cox also offers four Internet speeds. The slowest speed offered is 3.0 megabytes per second, while the fastest is 55 megabytes per second. The middle speeds are 18 and 27 megabytes per second.

Digital television with Century link features hundreds of channels, including your local channels. It offers high-definition television packages and the option to add premium channels and sports packages. Customers can also choose to view movies through On Demand or Pay Per View channels. Cox television has four different television packages, each including your local channels. The starter package includes up to 40 channels, while the premier package offers up to 270 channels.

Telephone service with Century Link features unlimited local calling and optional, unlimited long-distance calling. Customers can add other services including voice mail and caller ID. Other long-distance packages offer a certain number of minutes of anytime long-distance calling. Cox phone service includes unlimited local calling and caller ID. Customers can add unlimited national long-distance calling or voice mail services. The premier service package includes all extra services.

Both Century Link and Cox offer special bundling prices for customers who purchase all three of their services. Century Link also has a double bundle that offers customers savings when they get both Internet and telephone services. Its "Build a Bundle" option allows customers to pick the services and features that they want but still save. Cox offers three bundles that can save customers money. These bundles feature at least 236 cable channels, 3-megabyte-per-second Internet speed and unlimited local calling. Faster Internet speeds, more channels and long-distance calling are included in the higher bundles.
