Are DVRs really worthy it?

According to a recent survey conducted for Comcast by Horowitz Associates, digital video recorders (DVR) most certainly are worth it, as is video on demand (VOD) services. Overall, the survey found that DVRs and VOD services play a large role in the daily lives of families. DVRs and VOD services helped those surveyed in several ways: created less conflict among family members in determining what to watch, allowed the families to easily watch family-friendly programming and allowed families to watch more TV together.
