Online Media Manager

WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced company as Online Media Manager.  This person will report directly to the VP- Interactive Marketing.

 

The WhiteFence Marketing Team is expanding its core competence in consumer direct marketing.  We are seeking an experienced Media Manager who can provide leadership, strategy, execution and analysis of all media activities.  The focus of the Online Media Manager will be to drive cost effective new customer acquisition for WhiteFence products and services.  The Online Media Manager role will work closely with Product Management to develop and execute online media initiatives to drive cost effective customer acquisition.  He/she will work with in-house Media Analysts and external media properties to continually improve the performance of all media initiatives.  The development of comprehensive testing plans to seek out new strategies for cost effectively acquiring customers will be a core function of this role. 

 

 

Responsibilities

·         Develop and execute cost effective Online media plans that meet the goals and objectives developed by Marketing.

·         Collaborate with Media Analysts to develop campaign performance optimization recommendations, and work with media properties to execute those recommendations.

·         Manage online media planning and execute media buys for WhiteFence Online Media initiatives.

·         Monitor performance of purchased online advertising on a daily basis; manage to target CPA and ROI

·         Issue plan recommendations and negotiate most efficient rates for WhiteFence’s online media initiatives.

·         Issue “POVs” on potential/possible vehicles/vehicle types.

·         Develop and manage bidding strategies for CPC based buys.

·         Stay abreast of new developments and opportunities in the Online media domain and incorporate into ongoing test plans.

·         Gather industry research, competitive landscape information and trade intelligence for media strategy development and optimization

·         Serve as day-to-day contact for, and foster relationships with third parties.

 

 

Requirements:

·         BA/BS in Marketing or related field

·         5 years of Interactive Media Experience (planning and buying, strategy development)

·         Banner ad campaign management experience is mandatory for consideration

·         Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·         Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills

·         Extensive ad network and DSP experience

·         Knowledge of 3rd Party adserving and tracking tools (Atlas, DART, Kenshoo, WebTrends,            Omniture, etc)

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Agency experience a plus
