How Can I Get a Free VoIP With Cricket Wireless Phone Service

If you use a Cricket cellphone and you are burning through your minute allowance every month, you can get more talk time out of your call plan without paying for additional airtime. If you have an unlimited data plan, you can download free VoIP applications to make free calls. If you don't have an unlimited data allowance, you can switch your phone to wireless mode.

Step 1

Open your handset's Web browser and navigate to the websites of services like Skype, ooVoo or Google Voice.

Step 2

Follow the instructions given by your chosen VoIP service to sign up for an account and download the necessary software to your phone. You may need to visit an app store to download the program you need.

Step 3

Launch your VoIP application and make a call.
