Verizon offers mobile broadband service to users around the country. With your service, you can browse the Internet. When you sign up for a mobile broadband account with Verizon you have to sign a one- or two-year contract; you can cancel your contract at anytime. If your contract has not yet expired, you are required to pay early termination fees to cancel your account.
Step 1
Contact Verizon. You can call a representative over the phone or visit one in store to cancel your mobile broadband account.
Step 2
Provide the service representative with your full name and the last four digits of your Social Security number to verify your identity and so he can access your account information.
Step 3
Tell the representative you want to cancel your account. Wait while he accesses your information and works on canceling your mobile broadband service. Using your credit or debit card you must pay the early termination fee of $175 -- there is a $350 cancellation fee for advanced mobile broadband devices. Fees are as of the time of publication.
