The role of the Online Media
Analyst requires experience applying business analytics to media campaigns and
a disciplined approach to testing based on clear objectives and
methodologies. This position works closely with Online Media Management
to lead the campaign performance tracking and reporting processes. The
analyst will also work closely with Creative Staff to help refine the implementation
of concepts and messaging to be tested.
Responsibilities
- Report and analyze the effectiveness of WhiteFence’s
Online media plans to ensure that they meet the goals and objectives
developed jointly by Marketing.
- Collaborate with Online Media Managers to develop
campaign performance optimization recommendations.
- Monitor performance of purchased online advertising on
a daily basis; work with Online Media Managers to manage to target CPA and
ROI.
- Collaborate with Online Media Managers to develop
disciplined testing strategies.
- Gather industry research, competitive landscape
information and trade intelligence for media strategy development and
optimization.
- Develop detailed data reporting and measurement
requirements.
- Analyze detailed metrics of consumer behavior; develop
insights from reports.
- Work closely with Technology to make certain
WhiteFence is mining all available data with the proper tools to make
sound business decisions as they relate to Online Media
- Utilize syndicated industry research/measurement tools to enhance analysis
- BA or BS with strong analytical skills
- Minimum of 3 years direct response industry experience
- Must have experience as a Business Analyst or
equivalent
- Experience with syndicated Online research tools
(Media Metrix, NetRatings, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Online Marketing Analysis experience preferred (Agency
or Ad Network Experience Preferred)
- Experience with online tracking tools preferred
(Atlas, Webtrends, DART, etc.)
