Senior Director- Online Consumer Experience

WhiteFence, one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced company as the Sr. Director- Online Consumer Experience. This person is responsible for implementing the strategic direction as well as the planning, coordination, and management of all WhiteFence powered sites.  The Sr. Director- Online Consumer Experience is responsible for driving site conversion through site design, content enhancements, promotional ad creative and landing page design and tracking.   This person also manages the WhiteFence Product Marketing team that ensures accurate and timely pricing and promotion updates.  This position will play a key role in increasing WhiteFence brand recognition by implement branding standards across all WhiteFence powered properties. 

 

The Sr.Director- Online Consumer Experience reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will have a close working relationship with the Sr. Director- SEM &SEO, the SVP of Product Development, the VP- Call Center Operations, and the CEO.

 

 

Responsibilities

·         Propose, develop, and maintain strategies to promote and shape the image of WhiteFence online.

·         Conduct usability, a/b and multi-variant testing to improve site conversion.

·         Use market research data to determine the most effective techniques and approaches for reaching target audiences.

·         Use site and campaign monitoring tools to drive conversion rates.

·         Research, evaluate, and propose promotional tactics that address marketing initiatives to make promotional strategies more effective.

·         Maintain company-wide graphic standards and apply to all sites and creative projects.

·         Edit and update the messaging of all WhiteFence websites to improve the customer experience and site conversion.

·         Direct the social and new media efforts, including content development and messages for Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other social media outlets.

.Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

·         5-8+ Years of web design experience

·         5+ Years experience with interactive tracking and analysis tools (Omniture, Web Trends, Multi-Variant Testing Platforms, etc.)

·         Extensive experience with direct marketing/ecommerce efforts and online lead generation strategies.

·         Experience with Internet based marketing models and extensive knowledge of search and banner advertising.

·         Must be able to demonstrate strong organizational planning, problem-solving skills, the ability to map metrics to marketing effectiveness and a willingness to try new strategies. 

·         Significant experience improving conversion through web site design and online advertising – specifically Search to Landing Page and Banner Ad to Landing Page conversion. 

·         Superior communication skills: written, verbal, and listening.
