These cable modems offer various speeds depending on the Verizon data plan that you sign up for. The Nintendo Wii uses an Internet connection to connect players to multiplayer games modes, but it is not able to load the firmware needed to run Verizon USB cable modems on the system natively. However, the Internet feed can be utilized through a few manipulations of your home network.

Connect the Verizon USB cable modem to your computer's USB port.
Step 2
Click the "Network Connection" icon on the right side of the system tray and then connect to the Verizon network from the list of networks listed.
Step 3
Click "Start" and then click "Control Panel." Click "Network and Internet" from the and then "Network and Sharing Center."
Step 4
Click "Manage Network Connections" from the menu and then right click on your Verizon connection. Enter your administrator password into the field that appears.
Step 5
Click "Sharing" and then click the box next to "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection." Connect an Ethernet cable to the back of your computer.
Step 6
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your Wii's Ethernet port on the back of your console. Your Wii will now have an Internet connection through your computer.
