DSL high-speed Internet providers use a DSL modem to provide customers with access to their DSL networks. Additional Phone Outlets
DSL Internet service uses a telephone connection to access the Internet, but that telephone connection needs to be configured for Internet access before it will give any access. Therefore, using a second DSL Internet connection in the home requires not only a second DSL modem but also a installing a phone outlet with DSL Internet service. Setting up this phone outlet with DSL service may leave you subject to additional installation and labor costs.
