The Operation School Supplies drive became a national initiative in 2003 and is designed to help families who struggle with purchasing school supplies at the start of the school year. Charter Media selected Hallmark Channel to serve as the exclusive sponsor the 2011 drive. Residents in participating communities can make donations at designated drop box locations.

Charter's digital TV subscribers have access to hundreds of television channels, high-definition content and On Demand programming. Subscribers can record programs on a digital video recorder box for playback at a later time and watch high-definition content in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. Customers may bundle television or video services with high-speed Internet access and digital phone at a fixed price and potential cost savings or purchase separately. Pricing varies according to plan and setup and installation fees may apply for new subscribers. Promotions may be available to save you money should you decide to order.

Charter provides high-speed cable Internet with plans that allow download speeds that may go as high as 60 Mbps, in some instances. Charter has designed plans to meet the needs of basic web surfers all the way up to heavy bandwidth users. Perks will vary by plan but may include PowerBoost for faster downloads, 10 email address each with 1 GB of storage, free access to live games on ESPN3.com and Charter's Security Suite to help keep you safe on the Internet. Extra tools for purchase include Cloud Drive, an automatic backup software that allows anytime, anywhere access to your files and Wi-Fi. Charter's customer support is available 24/7.

Charter's digital phone service allows unlimited local and long distance calling throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Voice mail is included along with call waiting, caller ID, anonymous call rejection and a host of other features. You never have to pay more than you expect on your home phone bill. The Phone Online Manager allows you to activate and manage your calling features from anywhere you have Internet access. If you forgot to forward your calls, use your smartphone to access the online phone manager. For international calling, you can subscribe to the Worldwide 250 Calling Plan and get 250 minutes to call any of 200 countries worldwide, or choose from the low per minute international calling rates provided.
