An account number is the unique identifier that separates your Time Warner Cable services from those of other customers. You may be asked to provide your account number when calling for technical support, account changes or billing assistance. Because identity theft is a serious issue, obtaining and changing information on your Time Warner Cable account requires that you verify several forms of private information to ensure that your account is not accessed and altered without your permission. For this reason, if you attempt to obtain your account number, you will need to have additional account information available.
