The second plan is "high speed Internet advanced." It too comes with 9 email accounts and a free wireless router but it offers three different speeds at different prices. The speeds range from 1.1 15 Mb per second, depending on the price of the customer's package. The advanced package serves gamers and those with multiple computers at home.

FiOS is a recent addition to Verizon Wireless' Internet packages. FiOS runs on fiber optic cables, making it much faster than traditional DSL or cable Internet services. FiOS costs more than Verizon's high speed Internet but provides much more speed for downloading HD movies and large photos or files. Like the DSL packages, FiOS rates depend on the speed a customer chooses.

While some consumers may choose to buy only Internet services, Verizon offers bundles that include two or three services. Customers can choose from Internet, television and landline services. Bundled packages can include either high speed or FiOS Internet, both at a variety of prices and speeds.
