Triple Play from Comcast offers customers a bundle package of digital TV, high-speed Internet and home phone service for one monthly fee. Bundling these services together provides savings that customers would not receive if ordering them all separately. Four Triple Play packages are available in a variety of price ranges.

What Type of TV is Included with Triple Play?

Comcast offers XFINITY TV to Triple Play subscribers. This service includes digital cable and On Demand services, which allow customers to watch movies and TV shows instantly on their TV and online. Comcast also offers several high definition television channels. The number of regular and HD channels available increase with the more-expensive monthly plans. Some 3D programming is also available, and Comcast provides the option of getting a DVR.

What Type of Internet is Available, and How Fast is It?

Comcast XFINITY Internet provides high-speed Internet service with download speeds as much as 20 Mbps. Customers can download music, upload photos and view websites faster than possible with DSL, according to Comcast. Other features included with Comcast Internet are Constant Guard online protection, email accounts and self-service installation instructions.

What is the Home Phone Service Like?

With Comcast's XFINITY voice service, customers receive unlimited calling nationwide, the ability to access voicemail from their computer or smartphone, and 12 calling features such as caller ID and call waiting. XFINITY voice provides reliable, high-quality call clarity, as well, according to Comcast.

What Triple Play Packages are Available?

The Starter XF plan offers more than 80 TV channels, free HBO for three months, high-speed Internet and nationwide home phone calling. This plan is the least expensive of the four. The HD Preferred XF plan provides more than 160 TV channels, including Starz, as well as three months of HBO, high-speed Internet and nationwide calling. The HD Preferred Plus XF plan provides faster high-speed Internet, nationwide calling and more than 170 TV channels, including HBO. The most expensive Triple Play plan, HD Premier XF, includes HD DVR service, more than 200 TV channels, fast high-speed Internet and nationwide calling.
