How do I Set Up an Account With Comcast to Pay My Bill?

by Chang Lin, Demand Media

Whether you want to eliminate paper waste or you are simply tired of receiving monthly paper bills, you can sign up for paperless billing and pay your Comcast amount online. Once you are set up, you can press the "Pay Now" button to complete your payment the next time your bill is due.

Step 1

Visit the Comcast ID Registration page to set up an online account with Comcast (see Resources). Use your account number or the last four digits of your Social Security number, followed by phone number and security code. Press the "Next" button to continue.

Step 2

Review the account registration information on the next page and click on the "Register" button to complete your registration. You will automatically be redirected to your personal online Comcast account.

Step 3

Click on the "Account and Bill" tab located across the top of the page. On the next page, select the "Onetime Payment" or "Automatic Payments." The "Onetime Payment" option allows you to pay your full amount, but not any future bills. The "Automatic Payment" option allows you to pay your full amount and any future monthly bills with your billing information.

Step 4

Enter your credit card or bank account information. If you are paying by credit card, you will need to know the full name, credit card number, expiration date and billing address. For bank accounts, you will need to enter the account number, routing number and billing address.

Step 5

Press the "Submit Payment" button to review your payment amount and billing information. Once you are finished reviewing, click the "Accept" button to finalize the payment of your Comcast bill.
