Verizon has four different prepaid broadband options. The daily option gives you 100 megabytes of data access while the weekly plan provides 300 megabytes of data. Verizon broadband is run through the company's 4G network, so you can achieve download speeds up to 12Mbps.

Cricket has three different choices for monthly prepaid broadband plans. The Basic plan provides 2.5 gigabytes of data access, the More plan five gigabytes of data and the Premium plan 7.5 gigabytes of data usage. Cricket broadband speeds top out at 1.4Mbps.

The least expensive Virgin Mobile broadband choice provides 100 megabytes of data, which can be accessed over 10 days and about five hours of usage. The next step up is a monthly plan providing 500 megabytes, which lasts about 24 hours of usage. Virgin has an unlimited monthly broadband plan, but you can only use top speed for 2.5 gigabytes of access. Virgin Mobile broadband plans usually provide speed ranging from 600Kbps to 1,400Kbps.

DataJack has one standard monthly plan that can be used for three different wireless devices. You get up to five gigabytes of broadband access. You can choose between the MiFi box, DataJack USB or DataJack IBU devices. The MiFi enables Wi-Fi connections, the USB offers a network connection and the IBU keeps you connected during server problems. All DataJack wireless devices operate using 3G network speed.

Millenicom offers plans based on quantity of access and speed. The Dial-Up Speed plan provides unlimited data at 56Kbps. The Standard plan provides five gigabytes and you can pay an extra fee more per month to use any wireless device. The Advanced plan provides 20 gigabytes of usage, while the 3G/4G Hotspot plan provides 10 gigabytes of Samsung wireless hotspot usage at the highest available speed.
