Time Warner Cable offers Music Choice channels as part of its subscription options. In most areas the music choices are confined to several different genres broadcast directly from the cable feed. The Music Choice options vary by state but choices include Rock, Pop and Dance in addition to Urban and Country. Oceanic Time Warner Cable subscribers, in Hawaii, also have access to local FM stations as part of the Music Choice package.
Step 1
Subscribe to Time Warner Cable services in Hawaii. At this time, local FM channels are only available in this region.
Step 2
Upgrade to the digital broadcast tier if you haven't already. The Music Choice and FM stations are only available with digital cable.
Step 3
Tune to the 800 channels. The Music Choice and FM radio channels run from channel 800 to approximately 884.
Step 4
Contact your local Time Warner Cable customer service line if FM radio channels are not available in your area. The customer service representative may be able to tell you if Time Warner will offer FM radio in the future.
