How to Register New ATT Fast Access Account

Fast Access is a DSL Internet service offered by BellSouth. While BellSouth still runs the DSL accounts and service, the company was purchased by AT&T.; If you have DSL Fast Access Internet through BellSouth and want to register your account online, you will actually need to register at AT&T;'s website. An online account can be created using the online registration Web page, but you can contact AT&T; customer service if you're having difficulty registering through the Web page.

Step 1

Navigate to the AT&T; (att.com) main page and click on "Register" in the top right of the screen. Under "Internet & Phone," click "Register" again.

Step 2

Click on the "Select Account Type" drop down list and choose "Internet Account." Type in the first 10 digits of your BellSouth Fast access account number and click "Continue."

Step 3

Type your customer care code and billing zip code, and then click "Submit." The customer care code is the three-digit code located to the right of your account number on your bill. For instance, if your number reads "011-222-3333 444 5," your customer code would be "444."

Step 4

Enter in your personal information and choose a user name and password. Your password must be between 6 and 16 characters. Your ID must be unique and will be used to create your AT&T; Internet account. For instance, if you choose the user name "Johnsmith212" then your email will be "Johnsmith212@att.net." Once you finish creating your account, click "Submit" to finish the registration process.
