How does Verizon Highspeed Internet Work?

Verizon gives every high-speed Internet customer a dedicated line for a faster Internet connection. Verizon's Internet plans come with 10 MB of web space and nine email accounts. High-speed Internet customers can receive Wi-Fi at selected spots, such as hotels, bookstores and airports. Verizon customer service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Verizon high-speed Internet uses DSL, which works with the same technology as a telephone line. DSL is connected through a wireless router to the phone jack in a residence or place of business. Verizon's high-speed Internet fluctuates in price. Internet alone costs anywhere between $24.99 and $39.99 per month with no contract, as of June, 2011. The $24.99 plan allows customers to download at speeds of .5 to 1 Mbps and includes a free wireless router. The $39.99 plan allows customers to download at even faster speeds and also includes a free wireless router. High-speed Internet is cheaper if Verizon services are bundled together and come with a two-year agreement. Depending on your selection, prices will vary.
