Comcast provides cable, phone and high-speed Internet products and services to residential and business customers. High-speed Internet allows users to download data quickly. High-speed service is needed for gamers and users who download or upload music, photos and movies on their computer. Getting Comcast Internet is a simple process that can be accomplished over the Internet, in person at a Comcast retail outlet or with a phone call.
Step 1
Go to the Comcast website to order Internet services. Locate the Internet packages. Click on "Start Shopping."
Step 2
Enter your address to search availability in your area. Click "Continue." Find the Internet package you would like to use. Click on "Add to Cart."
Step 3
Customize your order by selecting your modem choice. Select the lease option if you do not own a modem. Check if your modem is compatible with Comcast Internet services before selecting "I own a modem."
Step 4
Enter your personal information on the order screen. Type in your billing address and credit card information.
Step 5
Choose your method of installation. You can order a self-installation kit which includes a cable splitter, coaxial cable and cable clips. Choose to have a professional installer come to your house if you do not want to install the modem yourself. Confirm your order.
Step 6
Call 1-800-COMCAST if you don't already have the Internet. A customer service representative can help you with your order on the phone.
