How to Move Your AT&T U-Verse

by Steven Hill , Demand Media

AT&T; provides television, Internet and phone services through its U-verse system. Subscribers can purchase all types of services in a bundle, or limit themselves to one or two depending on their budget and what they want. If you intend to move from your current residence to a new one, and you want to keep your U-verse services, AT&T; makes it possible for you to take them with you, provided they are supported at your new address.

Step 1

Navigate to AT&T;'s website.

Step 2

Place your cursor over "Support." This opens a drop-down menu. Place your cursor over "Billing & Account." This opens a second drop-down menu directly beneath the first one. Click "Moving Services" under the "Account Support" heading.

Step 3

Click on the dot beside "I am moving and would like to transfer my AT&T; service to my new address" on the left side of the window beneath "I am already an AT&T; Home Phone or Internet Customer." Click "Continue."

Step 4

Enter your AT&T; log-in details under "User ID" and "Password." If you have not yet registered your AT&T; customer account, click the "Get Started" link under "Not Yet Registered" on the right side of the screen to create an account.

Step 5

Click "Login."

Step 6

Follow the on-screen instructions to move your U-verse service with you to your new address.
