Time Warner Channel List

The basic Time Warner package offers many local broadcast TV channels. Customers have access to news channels, including CNBC, MSNBC and Fox News Channel. Sports channels include ESPN, ESPN2 and The Golf Channel. Customers can access cable network channels, including TBS, TNT, FX, BET, The History Channel, A&E;, Bravo, Comedy Central, Oxygen, OWN and Lifetime. In addition to the standard package, the company offers family-friendly channels like ABC Family, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and TV Land.

If you choose to include the "Variety" tier in your Timer Warner channel package, you would gain access to cable network channels that are not available with the standard package, including WE, History International and Cooking Channel. The "Variety" tier is one step up from the "Standard" tier.

When you subscribe to Time Warner Cable's "Movie Pass" tier, you gain access to several digital movie channels, including the Hallmark Movie Channel, Turner Classic Movies and Lifetime Movie Channel.

Premium Movie channels must be subscribed to individually. For example, HBO has several channels. In addition to the original HBO channel, it offers HBO Family, HBO Latino, HBO Zone, HBO Comedy, HBO Signature and HBO2. If you subscribe to HBO, you would gain access to all of the HBO channels, but you would not have access to other Premium Movie channels unless you subscribe to them as well. Showtime is a separate Premium Movie channel apart from HBO. It requires a separate subscription. When you subscribe to Showtime, you gain access to channels like Showtime Beyond, Showtime Extreme and Showtime Too. With Cinemax, another Premium Movie channel package, subscribers enjoy up to 10 additional Cinemax channels that cater to several genres. With Starz Premium Movie channels, you get access to eight multiplex channels, including Starz Cinema, Starz Edge, Starz In Black and Starz Kids & Family. The Movie Channel and Playboy TV are also considered Premium Movie channels.

Subscribing to the Time Warner Cable "Sports Pass" opens up several niche sports-centered channels, including The Tennis Channel, Fox Soccer, NBA TV, ESPN Classic, CBS Sports Network Fox College Sports, NHL Network and Fuel TV.
